Quiz the one hundred-and-twelfth: Behind glass (Part one)

You’re up against it with this quiz. Literally, up against the glass. So I’ll even help you out with a bit of a hint, though I’m sure you won’t need it. One director is responsible for three of the movies represented here! You might almost call it a signature motif. Now the rest should be easy!

I’m just saying, if I show you a pic of, say, a leprechaun, and ask you which film is comes from, it could be any from the boxed-set, right? There has to be a clue which pins down which film it comes from. Or an Ewok, that could be from any Ewok-related film, right?

No, it was 15, you had it right the first time. And you get nothing, not even a set of steak knives, because you can’t just identify an actor or character. You have to correctly name the movie.

*sigh* I can’t believe I’m explaining the rules of a quiz.

No, the Leprechaun did not go to a bar in the first movie. The only prize that seems fitting for such a wild guess is a box of old VHS tapes I have lying around that I have taped over several times and which are now just anthologies of ’80s television programs.

Since so far you have only provided one incorrect answer, your account is currently in debt. I’ll just have to hold on to the tapes. Which may be a good idea anyway because I’m no longer sure what all is on them.

No, the Lep was a CD-ROM guy.

BTW, I just noticed that your earlier Resident Evil guess was also off the mark because you got the number wrong (the number of the picture is above the picture, as the header picture has no number). So technically you are 0/2.

Nope. I think there was one a while back that got 20 out of 25, but that was more than one person. So far none of them has been completed.

      7. Alex Good Post author

Since nobody has completed a quiz, I haven’t had to determine that yet. But surely the pride of accomplishment is its own prize?

I heard there were Korean battleships dropping off massive dumps of correctly described images, it’s so sad, this quiz was compromised and corrupted, it’s all fake news!

      9. Alex Good Post author

The joke’s on you, because the real fake news was that report out of Korea. The other was fake fake news. You were taken in by the Deep Fake.

Hmm I think David Niven in Casino Royal, Rowan Atkinson in Bean, and Tom Cruise in Oblivion but not sure on that. That’s all I got apart from resident evil which Ol’10 already called.

Yeah, but Eddie didn’t know *which* Resident Evil it was. So he got zero points.
I am beyond impressed at how you got Bean from that blurry image. Is Atkinson’s mug that recognizable?
BTW, you have to number these! I’m giving you credit for
      3) Casino Royale
      8) Resident Evil
      11) Oblivion
      12) Bean
Very good, but not quite the full pot of gold!
