No peeking? Well, maybe just a quick look in the rearview mirror. In this second instalment of movie hindsight, see how many of these films you can identify in a backward glance.

These are hard!
21) Taxi Driver
25) Duel (what I jokingly like to call “Steven Spielberg’s only good movie”)
Yes, I think the degree of difficulty was a bit higher on this one. But I still haven’t posted one of my “impossible” quizzes yet. I have a couple of those I’m holding on to in case I’m ever in a bad mood.
I figured Taxi Driver and Duel would be pretty easy, though I’m not sure how well known Duel is these days, especially among people who didn’t grow up watching a lot of movies on TV.
1. The Long Good Friday
6. Goldfinger (?)
8. Sin City (?)
9. Invasion of the Body Snatchers (?)
10. Yakuza Horror Theatre Gozu
15. Withnail and I
17. Firewall (?)
24. War of the Worlds (?)
25. Duel (?)
4 and 22 seem paaaaiiiiinfully familiar.
Wow. That’s impressive, Sheba! I don’t know how you got Goldfinger out of that, but you did! I thought that was going to be a tough one.
Only one miss on your list!
Ah-ha-ha, it was the little bollards you can see on the side of the road in the mirror that tipped me off. Just because it’s a car chase, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the scenery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RdK51Igeqc
16’s a striking image; I hope somebody figures that one out.
Thanks for the link to the clip, Sheba! God I love the Goldfinger score.
Some are very familiar but the brain isn’t quite working. 16 is Les yeux sans visage and 18 is Magnum Force. Otherwise I’m at a loss.
Good eye on catching Magnum Force! That was another one that I posted thinking “Well, I don’t think anybody’s going to get that.” I’m always being surprised.
