These always seem easy when you making them up. Doing them is another thing. OK, my act of embarrassing myself today goes as follows:
01) The Andromeda Strain (1971)
10) Sinister
11) The Phantom of the Opera (1962)
12) Harold and Maude
13) Henry V
17) I Walked With a Zombie
18) House of Wax (1953)
23) The Omen (1976)
24) City of the Living Dead (Fulci!)
25) The Passion of the Christ
I seem to be getting worse at these. Some of these are going to drive me nuts. Ah Well. Nicely done.
I think getting 10 is pretty impressive. That’s a lot better than I usually do on yours. And you got House of Wax! I thought that might be the toughest one on the list this week.
This is really bothering me. I’ll take a wild stab at two more and then give up. #9 may be (probably not) “High Plains Drifter” and #16 may be “Deliverance”. That’s it for me. Now I have a headache. Nice work on this Alex.
Excellent eye! Thought High Plains Drifter might be tough. Now this list is half done.
3) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Swedish version)
Correct!
(possibly the only non-deceased dangler on the page?)
Well, Harold is just faking it (Chandler got Harold and Maude already so I can give that one away). I think for a couple of others it depends on how strictly you want to define “deceased.”
Harold wasn’t dead? Just kidding, obviously my theory was too hasty. I wonder about 5), too.
I can gibbet a go:
14. Sherlock Holmes
19. Hannibal
20. Friday the 13th Part 3
21. Scarface
Groan for the pun. All four correct! I think this quiz has 17 out of 25 now. That’s almost done!
